Segment Anything, developed by Meta AI, is a remarkable AI model with powerful image segmentation capabilities. It uses a promptable segmentation system that can 'cut out' any object in any image with a single click. This zero-shot generalization model has learned a general notion of what objects are, enabling it to handle unfamiliar objects and images without the need for additional training. The model can take various input prompts, such as interactive points and boxes, and can automatically segment everything in an image. It can also generate multiple valid masks for ambiguous prompts.
