fforward.ai: A Journey and Its Conclusion
fforward.ai has been a significant project over the past year. Despite the team's efforts to solve a problem they cared deeply about for their customers, the platform is now shutting down. This decision comes due to the inability to gain the necessary traction to extend its runway.
The shutdown process includes disabling new signups. Customers on annual plans will receive refunds, and existing customers will have access to their accounts and support via the Slack group until Wed, July 31st.
The founders express gratitude to their investors, advisors, mentors, colleagues, and especially to the customers for their trust, time, feedback, bug reports, and feature requests.
Building fforward.ai has been an enriching learning experience. The team conducted over 275 discovery interviews and gained insights into solving customer problems. They also delved into the world of generative AI and developed a product that reflects the advancements in technology.
Looking ahead, the founders are eager to apply these learnings to new opportunities and ventures. They are open to discussing full-time roles and contract opportunities in areas such as generative AI, product engineering, design, research, and various other domains.
