prg.ai: Transforming Prague into an AI Hub

prg.ai is at the forefront of driving the growth of the artificial intelligence ecosystem in Prague. It serves as a national partner for the leading global online course Elements of AI and manages its Czech version. The initiative brings together various stakeholders, including companies, students, researchers, and the public.

One of the key aspects of prg.ai is its focus on community building. It connects 136 local firms, 55 research groups, 28 VCs and accelerators, 25 educational entities, 22 communities and events, and 12 university specializations. This extensive network helps map the local AI scene and foster collaboration.

prg.ai also organizes educational and networking events, such as the Days of AI and AI Awards, which provide a platform for people to engage with artificial intelligence on multiple levels. Additionally, it coordinates the unique inter-university program prg.ai Minor, which combines the best of four faculties from the Czech Technical University and Charles University.

Through its various activities and partnerships, prg.ai is not only strengthening the relationships between the academic, research, and application spheres but also contributing to the development of the Czech economy and society. It is committed to making Prague a European center of artificial intelligence and informing the public about the benefits and risks of AI.
