By informing the public about the benefits and risks associated with artificial intelligence, prg.ai plays a crucial role in shaping a prosperous innovation environment, thereby contributing to the development of the Czech economy and society.
At its core, prg.ai connects companies serious about AI, boasting a growing membership base that includes 16 industrial members and 11 partner companies. The organization co-hosts the largest AI event of the year, culminating in the AI Awards, offering a comprehensive experience of artificial intelligence through the Days of AI event. Additionally, prg.ai coordinates the unique inter-university program prg.ai Minor, which brings together the best from four faculties of the Czech Technical University and Charles University.
As the national partner for the world-renowned online course Elements of AI, prg.ai has been managing its Czech version since 2021. The initiative serves as the heart of Prague's AI ecosystem, mapping the local scene with 136 companies, 55 research groups, 28 VCs and accelerators, 25 educational entities, 22 communities and events, and 12 university specializations.
prg.ai also organizes educational and networking events, offering a platform for the AI community to connect and grow. Through its newsletter, the initiative keeps the community informed about the latest in prg.ai, achievements of the local AI scene, upcoming events, interesting news and resources, community challenges, and job opportunities. The media<AI>monitor, published every 2-3 weeks, summarizes the most important news from the Czech AI scene as reported in Czech media.
