SvectorDB is a serverless vector database designed for AWS. It offers cost-effective vector search, with users paying per request without minimum fees or upfront costs. Key features include instant updates and built-in vectorizers for text and images, while also allowing users to use their own embeddings. It has various use cases such as in recommendation engines, document/image search, and retrieval augmented generation. For consistent performance, the default limit is 1 million records per database, and the free tier allows creating up to 10 free tier indexes of up to 5k records with no time limit.
