AWS RoboMaker

AWS RoboMaker is a cloud-based simulation service designed to empower robotics developers. It allows them to run, scale, and automate simulations without the hassle of managing infrastructure. With AWS RoboMaker, developers can make a single API call to run large-scale and parallel simulations, cost-effectively scale and automate simulation workloads, and effortlessly create user-defined, randomized 3D virtual environments. This tool is particularly useful for various use cases. For example, it enables automated regression testing within a continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline. It also facilitates the training of reinforcement learning models with high volumes of iterative trials. Additionally, it allows for multi-robot testing by connecting multiple concurrent simulations to fleet management software. Despite the fact that AWS RoboMaker is no longer available to new customers, existing customers will be able to use the service until 9/10/2025, after which support will end.
